Tecniman butterfly valve catalogue
Butterfly valves, manually or automatically operated, can be used mainly for viscous liquids, liquids containing solids and, in general, applications that require an unobstructed flow. They are used in the food, beverage, winemaking, olive oil, cosmetics and chemical industries. Their maximum working temperature is 120 ºC and their maximum working pressure is 10 bar (DN25-DN100) and 8 bar (DN125-DN150).

They use a lever system to sharply increase or reduce the flow through the section, which makes them ideal for continuous flow. They have excellent mechanical strength and greatly reduce the friction between seat and gasket, which is why they are classed as isolation (shut-off) valves.
