NW stainless steel couplings are manufactured to DIN 11851 and are ideal for use in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The thread complies with DIN 405/1.
Available materials: SS316
Notes: Other types of food-grade couplings, such as CLAMP, SMS and ITA (garrolla), can be supplied to order, as well as converters and special parts.
This range of DIN 11851 NW couplings includes all the parts needed to build a complete threaded joint:
- Weld-on parts: weld-on male part, weld-on liner and welding nipple with locking ring.
- Hose parts: male part and liner with serrated or plain hose tail, with locking ring.
- Nuts and closures: nut, nut with sight glass, blind nut with pivot and male threaded plug.
- Seals: NW lip seals for NW male parts in EPDM or NBR.
To choose, start with the nominal diameter: most parts are offered from DN 15 to DN 100 (each product page lists the available sizes). Then decide whether the part is welded to the pipe or fitted to a hose and, if so, whether you need a serrated or plain hose tail. Finally, select the seal in EPDM or NBR.
