Pneumatic connectors and quick couplings for compressed air

Pneumatic connectors join tubes, hoses and equipment in a compressed air installation. Here you will find quick couplings to connect and disconnect tools and hoses, automatic, semi-quick and biconical fittings for tube, threaded accessories in chrome-plated brass and air treatment equipment such as filters, regulators and lubricators.

Quick couplings: series and sizes

A compressed air quick coupling has two parts: the coupling, which is the female half, and the adapter, the male half that plugs into it. Both must belong to the same series. All series work at a pressure of 0 to 12 bar and are available with a hose nipple, male thread or female thread; the mini series also with spring.

Fittings for pneumatic tube

For tubing there are four systems: automatic thermoplastic fittings (tube from 4 to 16 mm outside diameter), automatic fittings in nickel-plated brass with stainless steel ring (4 to 14 mm), biconical fittings in nickel-plated brass (4 to 12 mm) and semi-quick fittings in nickel-plated brass with a nut, which are chosen by the inside and outside diameter of the tube (from 2.7x4 to 10x12 mm). There are straight fittings, elbows, tees, Y and cross connectors, reducers and plugs, with threads from 1/8" to 1/2", complemented by threaded accessories in chrome-plated brass.

Frequently asked questions about pneumatic connectors

What pressure do pneumatic quick couplings withstand?

The couplings and adapters of the mini, ISO 6150 B-12 and ISO 6150 B-15 series and the multi-profile couplings have a working pressure of 0 to 12 bar.

Are quick couplings from different series compatible?

Generally not: the adapter must match the profile of the coupling. If you use tools with different profiles, the multi-profile coupling accepts ISO 6150 B-12 (5.5 mm), Italian standard (5 mm), German (7.5 mm) and Swedish (5.5 mm) adapters.

What is the difference between an automatic and a semi-quick fitting?

In an automatic fitting the tube is pushed in and held in place without tools; it is chosen by the outside diameter of the tube. A semi-quick fitting holds the tube with a nut and is chosen by inside and outside diameter, for example 6x8 mm.

What accessories do I need to treat the air?

The water separator filter removes moisture, the pressure regulator sets the working pressure and the lubricator supplies oil to the tools; a combined filter regulator is also available, all with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" female threads. Also available: silencers, drain taps and blow guns.
