Description
Characteristics
API (American Petroleum Institute) fittings are manufactured under API RP-1004 standard. They withstand a working pressure of 10 bar and are used on fuel loading and unloading tankers to connect to the lower loading and unloading valve and drop elbow fittings (or composite hose fittings) and are usually part of the lower loading arms at storage terminals (in fuel storage facilities).
